Summer 2018
The first ever annual Rural Mural Hurl was an accident. Gillian & Helah, the two coolest cats, had painted a cool mural in my garage – just as a cool cat thing to do. Completely unrelated, I had wanted to host a bocce ball tournament for my birthday. However the forecast called for rain that day, and so we had to improvise. Rather than play bocce ball outside in the rain, Faye and I invented a new game of throwing bean bags at the mural. It was glorious and a new sporting tradition was born…
